1. You are simply an addict.

2. You smell terrible when you smoke, and when you kiss it's even disgusting.

3. The money you spend on cigarettes in one year, could by you a high-tech gadget or even a small car.

4. Your teeth turn yellow, your skin is damaged.

5. You are killing those who love you the most! by smoking around them Or/And at least you are killing your self and leaving those who love you sad and lonely.


By the way, i quit smoking a week ago, and i feel better than ever.

Doomsday... Bring on the Doom!

Yep, bring on the doom baby! i loved this movie! it's just a silly ass movie that doesn't even care to convince you of a damn thing that happens, all what the movie is demaning is to enjoy the action, the gore, and the crazy stunts...

i'm not a big gore fan, matter of fact, i hate gore movies, they are just disgusting, after a while of keeping on seeing blood and hands cut off and heads cut off, the one start to realize the director or the art director or whoever in charge in gore movies is trying SO hard to make you even more disgusted!.. Though you can't say Doomsday is a hardcore gore movie, but it has alotta of gory scenes in that matter, but you won't care that much since the movie is fast paced and it won't bore you a bit, it'll keep on going, event after event, some events like SPOILER AHEAD the castle fight just brings back the memories of gladiators in kinda a cool way! SPOILER ENDs.

It's amazing how many movies in a span of one year were trying to portray the end of the world, or the "doomsday", 28weeks later, the happening, i am legend, resident evil extenction, doomsday, and those happened to be the movies i can remember right now and the movies i've saw -except for 28weeks later-... i just think hollywood or the whole world in general are obsessed about how awfully this world end could be! i think it's something wrong with us as humans, we focus on what will happen at this day and we never focus on how prepared we are for such a day! and what have we done to be happy when this day comes? i would not like to go into philosophy and religion right now, but anyways, Doomsday isn't really the type of movies that talks about the whole world, they like to keep it in the UK, they like to suffer alone i guess, since 28days later had a very very similar general theme or plot but with massivly different sub-plots, even though i saw the 28days later two years ago i guess it still gives me the creeps even when i think about it now, it was a one hell of a scary movie to watch at this time! and i guess 28days later has a great influence on the later movies, since Danny Boyle did a really great job on this movie...

i ended up talking about 28 days later more than talking about doomsday but i seriously did that without any intention, and at the end, it shows you how much i feel this movie -doomsday- resambles the 28 days later movie!

FINAL WORDS: i think this's a very entertaining movie for people who are above 18 and can handle the gore! don't get me wrong young folks, but it's already rated R and Above 18 in so many countries! including the US and the UK, for me? i enjoyed it!

IMDB rating system ... i rate it 0

i just wrote a comment yesterday in the IMDB forums about how misleading the ratings could be! i can understand a movie movie like Meet Dave! more than i can believe a movie like Wanted! i mean the movie's in this one is garbage! lol ok we got it you run as fast as a bullet you jump from a building to another one across the street that's about 100 meters and yet you manage to shoot three -or four i forgot- guys while you are flying without any recoil effect on your movement .. and with different guns, and you manage to land inside the building offices without a small scratch and then a bullet from 5 miles that is from a building on a lower level than the roof top you on manage to kill you!!

i can find around 100 holes in this movie -wanted- EASILY and yet i didn't enjoy it to the level where i can say "screw logic, it was fun" it was not! and yet when i visited IMDB the movie ratings were 7!! WTF? and a movie like "a Knight's tale" gets 6.5? this's crazy! i know and i understand how the ranking system works, and i know that those kids affect the ratings but come on for god's sake! the guys in IMDB which is the largest movie's related site on the internet could do something against that! i mean the ratings are getting so important that i know alot of people -including me before a year or less even- who depend entirly on the ratings to pick a movie! and i consider my self someone who doesn't really care for what people think! but i am really bothered by this dumb system..

the guys at IMDB could do alot better, change the formulas, give more weights to the ranking data that comes from people who are above 25! ... why the hell am i even bothing my self with all this? NOTHING except to let you folks know, the freaking rankings and ratings from IMDB means nothing at all.

Dr Strangelove... a "strange love" it is!

Being 24 and watching a movie that was made 20 years before i was born is not a very easy thing to do specially for a guy who likes technology and the way technology step on our toes -that's me-... but this movie is an exception! i saw it on IMDB and it was rated really high! even though it starts Peter sellers but i wasn't really aware of anything Peter sellers did other than the Pink Panther series of movies, and i kept seeing the ratings on IMDB for it as one of the most important comedies, so i decided to bring this movie and watch it!..

i watched it! and let me tell you! i knew why movie gurus say Stanley Kubrick is a genius! i mean of course he made alot of great movies... Lolita, the Shining, Full metal jacket... and the list goes on! but once you watch a movie like Dr. Strangelove after 44 years of it's release date and still can feel it was made yesterday and even relate to it, even the technological differences and the way things changed between now and then means nothing to me i really really enjoyed all the B52 scenes and the way the team interacted with one another! and it was just hilarious at some parts! specially the phone calls between the us president and the russian premier...

in my humble and personal movie reviews i'll be trying not to get into too much details as i'll let you dive through the details, but i will be giving recommendations and loving to discuss the movie with anyone who'd love to do so.

so in my Rami scale, this movie is "Awsome!" as i don't believe in numbers rating! i ain't no cretic or a journalist so my rating is simply i stated.

it's a must see for everyone who didn't live through the cold war era and it's a must see for everyone who wants to see raw talents and how beautiful a black comedy might look like! this movie letterly make you consider the end of the world as nothing but a big joke.
